"Bringing all into a saving

The Season of Epiphany.
The term epiphany means "to show" or "to make known" or even "to reveal." In Western churches,
it remembers the coming of the wise men bringing gifts to visit the Christ child, who by so doing "reveal" Jesus to the world
as Lord and King. For many Protestant church traditions, the season of Epiphany extends from January 6th until Ash Wednesday,
which begins the season of Lent leading to Easter. Depending on the timing of Easter, this longer period of Epiphany includes
from four to nine Sundays.
Join us: All community residents and visitors are invited to join us for worship and fellowship,
as we strengthen our relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Redeemer celebrated its 50th
Anniversary! -- "By His Grace" was the theme of the celebration, chosen from
Ephesians 2:8. The celebration events included a welcome fellowship/registration with
refreshments on Friday, January 22nd; a catered dinner on Saturday the 23rd; and a 50th Anniversary Celebration Worship
Service with Holy Communion on Sunday the 24th. Our first pastor, the Reverend Dewyth Beltz, delivered the sermon; the
Reverend Richard Swanson was the Lector; and the Reverend Robert Kobler was the Litergist. The service was followed by
coffee and refreshments. To view photographs of the events, click

Lutheran Student Fellowship: LSF is going strong at Redeemer! LSF is the national
organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod for college students. Moving away from home does not mean one should move away
from a relationship with the Lord, or from companionship with other Christian students. Make contact at church, or on Facebook
at the LSF Stephen F. Austin State University link. Learn more about LSF ...
LifeLight Bible Study: The LifeLight Bible Study is a series of in-depth Bible studies conducted
by Pastor Kobler on Wednesday evenings. Each segment of the series focuses on one Book of the Bible for a period of about nine weeks. Study guides
are provided free of charge. Contact the church office for the schedule, or to sign up for the next series.
